General
1. Due to the handcrafted nature of the cards there may be some differences between each item, for example, handmade papers or fabrics will have slight variations in texture or colour, exact measurements and layout.
 
2. No minimum order, expect for the DIY Wedding Stationery which is 15 cards.
 
3. Payments are to be made by cash or cheque only at this time, payable to 'Merrigan Bee', and to be received before the order is dispatched.
 
4. Every effort will be made to pack and post your order so that it arrives in good condition but we cannot be held responsible for damage / loss during delivery. Orders will be sent first class recorded delivery by Royal Mail and an email sent to confirm when the order has been dispatched.
 
5.  We are dependent on our suppliers and although we will do our best to source the materials for your card, if they are unavailable we will let you know within a week of your order and offer alternatives. We will refund any monies paid if you choose not to continue with an order in these cases.
 
6. Work will start on your order on receipt of payment, cards will be dispatched immediately if in stock, otherwise you will be notified when to expect your order. Please check our reply, which will indicate the length of time, before sending payment.
 
7. We are confident you will be happy with your purchase but if not,  please return the product/s and your be reimbursed in the case of any genuine complaints. Postage costs incurred by returned the item cannot be refunded.  
 
For wedding stationery
Points 1 - 6 above apply to our wedding stationery in addition to the following;

 

8. All stationery includes (where relevant) envelopes and inserts. Please ensure you read our product descriptions carefully. For our main bespoke service you are under no obligation to buy the sample we create for you nor to place an order following receiving the sample.

 

9. You will need to provide clear and accurate information to be included on the stationery and will be asked to complete a form with this information on before work on your order can begin.

 

10. Guidance will be given to help you construct the wording for your stationery. Stationery includes your personalised inserts where appropriate. For a small extra fee we can add the names of your guests.

 

11. We will send an email or letter to confirm your order and a proof copy for you to check and amend if necessary. Once we receive final confirmation and a deposit, work will begin on your stationery. It is the clients responsibility to read the samples carefully to ensure the information is accurate.
 
12. As our stationery is personalised for your wedding we need to ask for 50% of the total cost once the order has been accepted and sample approved. This deposit is non-refundable. The final 50% is due on completion of the order and just prior to the delivery of your Wedding Stationery. The deposit will be retained if the order is cancelled.
 
13. Timing for the production of your stationery will vary according to the quantity and work involved, on average we would expect six weeks notice before your stationery is required, remember Save the Date Cards, Invitations and RSVPS will be needed sooner than other items such as Order of Service and Place Cards which can be confirmed later.
It is possible to create your cards more quickly, but an additional cost may be incurred.

14. Orders are subject to availability. Every effort will be made to find a suitable alternative in circumstances where stock is unavailable from our suppliers.
 
15. Postage and packaging will be quoted separately and your stationery will be sent by Special Delivery, or depending on location, stationary may be hand delivered. We cannot accept responsibility for the products once dispatched.
 
16. There is a small fee for the sample, this is refunded if you place a subsequent order.
